Karen Maloney Vargas, 49

YOUNGSTOWN – There will be a funeral service at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 12, 2014, at the Rossi Brothers & Lellio Funeral Home in Boardman, with the Rev. Edward Noga celebrating, for Karen Vargas, 49, who passed away Friday, April 4, 2014, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born Nov. 20, 1964, in Brooklyn, N.Y., the daughter of James Maloney and Florence Snow.
Karen was employed at Infocision and was the secretary for the Mi Raza Motorcycle Club. She was a member of St. Patrick Church. Karen loved spending time with her family when she was not working.
Karen will always be lovingly remembered by her husband, Richard Vargas; her five children, Frank Martinez of Florida, Ginamarie Martinez of Boardman, Sabino Martinez of Mississippi, and Angel Vargas and Mickey Vargas, both of Youngstown; grandson Louis Ruozzo V; two brothers, Edward and Richard Maloney, both of New York; and uncle Al and aunt Marie.
She was greeted in Heaven by her mother, Florence, and her brother, Joseph Maloney.
Friends may call on Saturday, April 12, from 11 a.m. until the time of the service at the Rossi Brothers & Lellio Funeral Home, 4442 South Ave. in Boardman.
