Obituary for Frank Steve Nagy

FRANK STEVE NAGY, 88
CLEVELAND ­ Frank S. Nagy, 88, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, July 9, 2014, in Cleveland.
He was born on Oct. 9, 1925, in Youngstown , and married Ann Sosnowski on May 22, 1954.
Frank courageously served his country in the Pacific during World War II. He and Ann were longtime members of St. Anne Ukrainian Catholic Church. Frank retired, after a 39-year career at Republic Steel. Frank and his wife resided in their Boardman home for more than 50 years before moving closer to family in Cleveland.
Frank will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Ann Nagy; his daughter, Charlene Nagy of Cleveland; his son, Frank (Katherine) Nagy of Peachtree City, Ga.; and his five grandchildren, Bethann (Olsavsky) Johnson, Charles Olsavsky, Andrew Nagy, Luke Nagy and John Nagy; as well as many loving nieces, nephews and extended family.
He was preceded in death by his parents and four brothers. Frank was a loving father, husband, grandfather and friend to all.
Visitation for family and friends will be on Saturday, July 12, 2014, from 9 until 10:15 a.m., in the chapel at St. Anne Ukrainian Catholic Church, 4310 Kirk Road in Youngstown. The Divine Liturgy will begin at 10:30 a.m., immediately following the visitation.
Frank will be laid to rest at Calvary Cemetery in Youngstown.
The Rossi Brothers & Lellio Funeral Home in Boardman have been bestowed the honor of handling Frank¹s funeral arrangements.
