Adele D. Sanko, 76
YOUNGSTOWN – There will be a memorial service at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 26, 2014, at the Bridge of Hope Church, 7580 Glenwood Ave. in Boardman, with Pastors Rick Mason and Joanne Baltes celebrating, for Adele D. Sanko, 76, who went from this life into the arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Friday, Sept. 19, 2014, surrounded by her loving family.
Adele was born Sept. 28, 1937, in Youngstown, the daughter of Anthony and Michelina (Marinelli) Sabitano.
Adele retired from the Cafaro Hospital after 25 years of service. She loved spending time with her family and friends, especially at her home during the holidays. She always put others before herself.
Adele was a member of the Bridge of Hope Church and was very active in several ministries, including many bible studies. She was President of Igniting New Life Ministries. She was also very involved in her community, especially with food and clothing ministries. She was also involved at the Mahoning County Jail, spreading the word of her Lord’s Ministry.
Adele will always be lovingly remembered by her two daughters, Judy (Ralph) DeMichael of Canfield and Mary Sanko of Boardman; three grandchildren, Joey, Linda and Joshua Bennett; two great-grandchildren, Elyssia and Isaiah Gadd; brother Eugene Sabitano of Poland; brother-in-law Albert Arquilla of Youngstown; and many loving nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, Adele was preceded in death by her daughter, Michele Conner; granddaughter Lisa Bennett; and sister Pauline Arquilla.
Friends may call at the Bridge of Hope Church from 10 a.m. until the time of the service on Friday, Sept. 26, 2014.
The Rossi Brothers and Lellio Funeral Home in Boardman has been bestowed the honor and privilege of handling the arrangements for Adele.
