Elmer Gordon Frame, 82


Poland – Elmer Gordon Frame, 82, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 29, 2014 surrounded by his family. Together again with his loving wife of 62 years Ruth A. Crosby who passed on February 3 of this year whom he now reunites with in the arms of Our Lord. In life they were never apart. He was born to Thomas and Sara Frame on June 20, 1932; one of eight children. He was a 30 year member of Gibson Height Presbyterian Church USA where he served as a Session Member, and a recent member of Cornerstone Presbyterian Church and PCA for 20 years. He worked for Ohio Bell until retirement. His favorite hobby was wood working. Gordon was quite the neighborhood handyman. Throughout his life he was very active in his church, his neighborhood, and in his children’s lives. He is the beloved father of 4 children and their spouses; Elmer Gordon and Claudia (Kosack) Frame, William A. and Debra Lee (Frame) Shattuck, Richard A. and Diana Lin (Frame) Dripps, David Glenn and Candi (DiCesare) Frame. He leaves 12 adoring grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. To mourn his passing he also leaves his sisters, Sally McIntire and Judy Frame. His family takes comfort in knowing he has reunited with his wife Ruth, his parents, Sara and Thomas Frame; brother, Tom Frame and sisters; Virginia Murphy, Juanita Hawkins, Eleanor Pratt and Marjorie Johnson in the arms of Our Lord. The family has entrusted the care of Elmer Gordon Frame to The Rossi Brothers and Lellio Funeral Home, 4442 South Avenue in Boardman. Calling hours will be on Sunday, November 2, 2014 from 4 to 7 p.m. The funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, November 3, 2014 at the funeral home.
