Peter Paul Venorsky, 82
AUSTINTOWN Peter Paul Venorsky, 82, passed away Monday, Nov. 24, 2014, surrounded by his loving family.
Peter was born July 4, 1932, in Youngstown, the son of Peter and Ann
(Cvetkovich) Venorsky.
Peter was a 1951 graduate of Chaney High School. Following high school, Peter played Class B and Class AA baseball for Schroll¹s. He courageously served his country in the U.S. Navy from 1952 to 1956. He retired from Anchor Motor Freight after 28 years of service. Peter was a member of the Western Star Lodge number 21, 32nd degree Mason of the Scottish Rite, a member of the Trias Chapter 523 and a member of Mirian Chapter 278. He was also on the worship committee at the Calvary Baptist Church where he was a long standing parishioner. Peter loved his community, his sports teams, particularly the Youngstown Penguins, and spending time with his family whom he cherished more than anything.
Peter will always be lovingly remembered by his wife of 56 years, the former Carole Fercana; three sons, Richard of Austintown, Robert (Kathryn) of Kirtland and James (Michelle) of Chagrin Falls; and seven grandchildren, Hanna, Nicole, Elizabeth, Amber, Daniel, Natalie and Olivia.
Friends may call at 10 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 28, 2014, at the Calvary Baptist Church with services to follow at 11 a.m.
Interment will take place at Green Haven Memorial Gardens where full Military Honors for Peter¹s dedicated service to our country will be provided by the great men of V.F.W. Post No. 9571 of Ellsworth.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests contributions be made in Peter¹s name to the Hospice House or the Calvary Baptist Church.
