Canfield – There will be a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. on Thursday, December 4, 2014 at St. Michael Church in Canfield with Rev. Terrence Hazel celebrating for Helen Camuso, 89, who passed away Monday, December 1, 2014. Helen was born April 5, 1925, in Youngstown, the daughter of Enick and Barbara (Fedorchak) Kovalewich. Helen worked in the front office at Holowach Sparkle Market. She was a member of St. Michael Church and its Altar Guild. Helen was also a charter member of St. Christine Church where she taught second grade catechism. She was a member of T.O.P.S. for 50 years and also a K.O.P.S. She is together again in Heaven with her husband, John J. Camuso whom she married January 10, 1948. He passed away September 8, 2005. Helen will always be lovingly remembered by her son, John Michael (Stella Marie) Camuso, and daughter, Barbara Lisa (Richard) Irwin; sister, Pauline Holowach; many loving nieces and nephews and her beloved dog, Tasha. Friends may call on Thursday, December 4, 2014 at St. Michael Church from 10 a.m. until the time of Mass. The family would like to extend heartfelt gratitude to Shepherd of the Valley Boardman, Dr. Nath, Rev. Hazel and Deacon Tom Soich for the kind and compassionate care shown to Helen.
