Ramona M. “Mona” Aguilar Bosco, 85

Youngstown– There will be funeral services at 9:15 a.m. on Friday, January 9, 2015 at the Rossi Brothers and Lellio Funeral Home in Boardman followed by a 10:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Dominic Church in Youngstown for Ramona M. (Mona) Aguilar Bosco, 85, who passed away Monday, January 5, 2015. Ramona was born January 4, 1930 in Youngstown, the daughter of John L. and Sara (Morales) Aguilar. Ramona graduated from the Rayen School. She worked for United Printing, Youngstown Lithograph and then the Diocese of Youngstown for 20 years in the printing department. She retired in 2009. Ramona was a kind, loving and caring person especially to her family and friends. She was always smiling and full of fun even when she was in pain. She was a member of St. Dominic Church. Her husband, Alfonso L. Bosco whom she married August 1, 1953, and had twenty happy years together, passed away June 9, 1973. Ramona’s greatest enjoyment was music of all kinds, especially the Big Band sound and the Latin Beat. She loved dancing at Idora Park and the Elm’s Ballroom where she met her husband Al. She was a member of the Monday Musical Club. She is survived by two sisters Lucille Aguilar of Youngstown and Guadalupe of Texas; three nieces, Gloria J. (John) Gutierrez, Gloria J. (Robert) Aey and Diane Aguilar; four nephews, Gilbert Rodriguez, Raymond Gutierrez, John (Linda) Aguilar and David V. (Kara) Aguilar; many other nieces and nephews and sister in law, Ellen Bosco. Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Jennie Rodriguez and Pauline Aguilar; two brothers, John Jr. and David V. Aguilar and nephew, Henry Losiewicz. Friends may call from 4 to 6 p.m. on Thursday, January 8 at the Rossi Brothers and Lellio Funeral Home, 4442 South Avenue in Boardman. The family would like to extend heartfelt gratitude to Hospice of the Valley for the excellent care shown to Ramona.
