Jose Cuevas, 61

Youngstown – Funeral services will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, January 15, 2015 at the Rossi Brothers and Lellio Funeral Home in Boardman for Jose Cuevas, 61, who went home to be with the Lord on Friday morning, January 9. Jose was born July 22, 1953 in Youngstown, the son of Ramon Cuevas and Emilia Davilia. Jose worked for Parker Hannifin. He loved his family and cherished his time spent with them. He enjoyed playing cards and was always telling jokes. He was loved by everyone who knew him. Besides his wife, Nancy (Pastello) Cuevas, whom he married on September 25, 1976; he is survived by his two daughters, Nicole Matthews of Liberty and Kristy Cuevas of Austintown; six grandchildren, Devin, Isaac, Isaiah, Elijah, AuMari, and Reuben Jr.; seven siblings, Lucretia Cuevas of Youngstown, Gregorio Cuevas of Arizona, Ernesto (Betty) Cuevas, Cecilio (Isabelle) Cuevas, Felipe Cuevas, Rafael Cuevas, all of Youngstown, and Carol (Christopher) Connell of Missouri; sisters-in-law, Annette, Denise (Glen) and Corky; many loving nieces and nephews; and friends. Besides his parents who preceded him in death; he has been reunited with his six siblings, Miguel, Manuel, Ramon, Gloria Sierra, and two infant sisters.
