YOUNGSTOWN ­ There will be funeral services at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 14, 2015, at the Rossi Brothers & Lellio Funeral Home in Boardman, followed by a 12:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Christ the Good Shepherd Sta.
Rosa de Lima Church, for Francisca Cruz, 93, who passed away Tuesday, March 10, 2015, surrounded by her loving family.
Francisca was born Dec. 4, 1921, in Las Piedras, Puerto Rico, the daughter of Crispolo Cruz and Natalia Diaz.
She was a homemaker and a member of Christ the Good Shepherd Sta. Rosa de Lima Church. Francisca was also a member of the legion of Mary. She loved gardening and enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family.
Francisca will always be lovingly remembered by her 10 children, Roberto, Eneida, Angel, Nercy, Benigno, Wilfredo, Ana Maria, Edwin, Carmen Maria and Johnny (Christine) Santana; 22 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Besides her parents, Francisca was preceded in death by her husband, Angel Santana; two grandchildren, Juan Miguel and Yolanda Rosario; and sister Carmela Cruz.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. on Friday, March 13, where a prayer service will be held at 7:30 p.m. at the Rossi Brothers & Lellio Funeral Home, 4442 South Ave. in Boardman.
