Jennie Petrock Romeo, 92
NEW MIDDLETOWN – There will be a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, April 1, 2015, at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church in Lowellville, with Rev. John Jerek celebrating for Jennie Petrock Romeo, 92, who passed away Monday, March 30, 2015, surrounded by her loving family.
Jennie was born Nov. 18, 1922, in Erskine, Pa., the daughter of John and Vita (Tesono) Mangine.
Jennie was a homemaker and a member of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church. She enjoyed cooking and was a wonderful baker. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family.
Her first husband, Michael Petrock, passed away in 1979. Her second husband, Dominic Romeo, whom she married Sept. 9, 1995, passed away in 2003.
Jennie will always be remembered lovingly by her son, Randy (Toni) Petrock of Poland; two granddaughters, Jennifer (Dave) Raspanti of Poland, and Kristen (Chuck) Cormell of Poland; and four great-grandchildren, Vincent and Luca Raspanti of Poland and Alexander and Aiden Cormell of Poland.
Besides her parents and husbands, she was preceded in death by a great-grandson, Nathan Raspanti, and four sisters, Mary Calao, Sarah Court, Josephine Guylitto and Ann Rozzi.
Friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church on Wednesday prior to the Mass.
The family would like to extend heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Masternick Memorial for the kind and compassionate care shown to Jennie.
