Aracelis Feliciana Rosario, 90
YOUNGSTOWN – Aracelis Feliciana Rosario, 90, passed away Tuesday, July 7, 2015, surrounded by her loving family.
Aracelis was born Sept. 13, 1924, in Santurce, Puerto Rico, the daughter of Gonzalo and Carmen Alvarez Rosario.
Upon moving to the area in the 1950s, Aracelis worked at the home of Dr. and Mrs. James Sansone.
She was a member of the St. Angela Merici (Sacred Heart) Church and the Sacred Heart Altar Guild. She enjoyed gardening and loved being around people.
Aracelis will always be remembered lovingly by her grandson, Carlos John Rosario; daughter-in-law Karen (Bob) Morgan and their son, Devon Morgan; nephew Jack (Sheryl) Johnson; niece Joyce Jones; and many loving nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Carlos Rosario; three sisters, Pura Martinez, Inocencia Martinez, and Saturnina Alvarez-Johnson; brother, Pedro Rosario; and niece Sandra Prater.
There will be a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. on Saturday, July 11, 2015, at the St. Angela Merici Church in Youngstown, with the Rev. Kevin Peters celebrating the Mass for Aracelis.
Friends may call from 9 to 10 a.m. at the church prior to the Mass.
The Rossi Brothers & Lellio Funeral Home, 4442 South Ave. in Boardman had the honor and privilege of handling the arrangements for Aracelis.
