Youngstown– There will be a Memorial Mass at 6 p.m. on Monday, July 13, 2015 at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Basilica in Youngstown with the Very Reverend Gregory Maturi, O.P. celebrating the Mass for Helen M. Poszust, 78, who passed away Thursday, July 9, 2015, and for her late husband, Stanley J. Poszust, who passed away on January 17, 2014. Helen was born July 15, 1936 in Youngstown, the daughter of Paul and Erma (Gualtieri) Petrella. Helen was a graduate of Wilson High School and a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Basilica. She had a passion for reading and enjoyed going to Mountaineer. Helen loved her family more than anything and always put others before herself. Her great sense of humor will be dearly missed. Helen will always be remembered lovingly by her two daughters, Cynthia (Michael) Dikun of Boardman, and Diane (Michael) Jordon of Austintown; five grandchildren, Frank, (Julie), Daniel, Jason (Jodi), Zachary (Taylor) and Leann (Josh); six great-grandchildren, Michael, Natalie, Isaiah, Landen, Mia, and Noah; brother, John (Lisa) Petrella; sister, Janet Sutton; brother-in-law, James Colaluca; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her sister, Norma Colaluca; sister-in-law, Irene Gozur and brother-in-law, Emil Gozur. The Rossi Brothers and Lellio Funeral Home, 4442 South Avenue in Boardman have been bestowed the honor and privilege of handling the arrangements for Helen.
