Dolores S. Gambrel, 79

BOARDMAN – There will be a Mass of Christian Burial at noon on Friday, Sept. 11, 2015, at St. Luke Church for Dolores S. Gambrel, 79, who passed away Monday evening, Sept. 7, at the Hospice House.
Dolores was born Dec. 12, 1935, in Campbell, the daughter of John and Susan (Szekey) Nemeth.
She was a graduate of Campbell Memorial High School. Dolores worked as a cashier in the Mahoning County Treasurer’s Office and then transferred to the Auditor’s Office, where she worked until her retirement. It was there that she met her late husband, the wonderful Robert Gambrel, whom she married on May 22, 1976. He passed away Jan. 16, 2008. She was a member of St. Luke Church.
Dolores will be remembered lovingly by her two sisters, Betty DeGenova of Struthers and Mary DeVico of Austintown; sister-in-law Irene Nemeth of Youngstown; and many nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Irene Pipoly and Margaret Matzye; and two brothers, John and George Nemeth.
There will be no calling hours.
Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery.
