Obituary for Reverend Albert R. Arquilla

Rev. Albert R. Arquilla, 82

BOARDMAN ­ There will be a funeral service at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 19, 2015, at the Christian Life Church, 6101 Raccoon Road in Canfield, with Pastor Chris Woolley celebrating the life of the Rev. Albert R. Arquilla, 82, who passed away Monday, Sept. 14, 2015, surrounded by his loving family.
Albert was born May 17, 1933, in Youngstown, the son of Louis and Lena
(Carano) Arquilla.
Albert was a 1952 graduate of East High School and courageously served his country in the U.S. Army from 1953 to 1955. He retired from the Youngstown Board of Education as a custodian after 34 years of service.
His wife, the former Pauline Sabatino, whom he married on Oct. 15, 1955, passed away on December 23, 2003.
Albert was a member of the Shield of Faith Ministries, where he was an ordained pastor, Christian counselor and served as a board member. He was a member of the Cameo Club and served as vice president of A.F.C.M.E. Union No. 1143. Albert enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He took great pride in attending his grandchildren¹s sporting and school events. He loved spending the holidays with his family, especially celebrating the traditional Italian Christmas Eve.
Albert will always be remembered lovingly by his four children, Louis A.
(Debbie) Arquilla of Poland, Judy Balog of Boardman, Christine (Greg) Thomas of Ravenna, and David A. (Mary) Arquilla of Poland; seven grandchildren, April Arquilla, Alyssa and Brett Balog, Zachary, Matthew and Erica Thomas and Jack Arquilla; four great-grandchildren, Autumn and Hailey Cox, and Michael and Vanessa Duley; six siblings, Phyllis Wick of Boardman, Patricia Arquilla of Youngstown, Louis (Mary Jane) Arquilla of Austintown, Ronald Arquilla of Youngstown, Loretta Buccilli of Hubbard, and Richard Arquilla of Baltimore; and brother-in-law Eugene Sabatino of Poland.
Besides his parents and wife, Albert was preceded in death by sister Mary Louis Arquilla; sister-in-law Adele Sanko; and brother-in-law Frank Wick.
Friends may call from 4 to 6 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 18, at the Rossi
Brothers & Lellio Funeral Home, 4442 South Ave. in Boardman, and again on Saturday at the Christian Life Church from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.
