James “Jamie” Morales, 55

YOUNGSTOWN – James “Jamie” Morales, 55, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, Sept. 16, 2015, surrounded by his loving family.
Jamie was born Sept. 4, 1960, in Youngstown, the son of Raul and Maximina (Rodriguez) Morales.
He was a 1978 graduate of South High School and worked as an inspector for the Mahoning County Sanitary Engineer’s Office. Jamie brought a smile to everyone he met. He was a selfless person who would give the shirt off his back to help those who were less fortunate. He enjoyed riding his Harley and spending time with family and friends. He was a member of New Life Ministries.
Jamie will always be remembered lovingly by his mother of Youngstown; his two children, Stephen C. Morales of Girard, and Casey L. Morales of Mineral Ridge; brother Angelo Morales of Austintown; two sisters, Mary (Jose) Santana of Lorain, and Joy (Bob) Marinelli of New Middletown; three nieces, Monique Morales, Natalie Arroyo and Jessilyn Marinelli; three nephews, Angelo (Connie) Morales, Michael Morales and Bobby Marinelli; three great-nieces and a great-nephew; Jimmy Shakhatreh and James Sutton, whom he considered brothers; the mother of his children, Phyllis Dodson, and the love of his life, Diane.
He was preceded in death by his father.
There will be a memorial service at 6 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 21, at New Life Ministries, 2250 E. Western Reserve Road in Poland.
The Rossi Brothers and Lellio Funeral Home, 4442 South Ave. in Boardman, had the honor of handling the arrangements for Jamie.
