Antoinette “Ann” Marie Fabrizio, 93
BOARDMAN - Private services were held for Antoinette “Ann” Marie Fabrizio, 93, who went home to be with her Lord on Monday, May 16, 2016, at the Cleveland Clinic, surrounded by her loving family, after a brief struggle with cancer.
Ann was born April 9, 1923, in Youngstown, the daughter of Charles and Mary (Diacovo) Nerone.
She attended East High School and was employed as a photographer at the Pines Dance Hall in the 1940s.
Ann married Albert Bernard Fabrizio in June of 1945, and was a homemaker and dedicated mother.
She spoke her secret to her longevity consisted of being a grandmother and considers those years her most fulfilling legacy.
A devout Catholic, Ann was a member of St. Christine Church and a former member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Basilica. She enjoyed campaigning for the Women’s National Democratic Club, jazz music, jewelry making, and dancing at the Jewish Community Center (Heritage Manor) and Sateri Adult Daycare, where she leaves behind many friends.
Ann will always be lovingly remembered by her son, Gary (Janice) Fabrizio; daughter Laura Ann Fabrizio; two grandchildren, Samuel Christopher and Elizabeth Ann; brother Albert Nerone; and her beloved dogs, Maddie and Siena.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 36 years; three brothers, Tony, James, and John; and two sisters, Nellie and Rosie.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the professional care of the Rossi Brothers & Lellio Funeral Home, 4442 South Ave. in Boardman.
