Obituary for Jean DiLoreto

Phoenix, AZ. - Jean DiLoreto, born in Youngstown in 1917, passed away peacefully in Phoenix, Arizona, surrounded by her loving family on Aug. 27, 2016. Jean cherished her family more than anything and was the ultimate babysitter for many generations. She was a devoted Catholic, and an avid opera and sports fan. She is survived by the DiLoreto, Cera, Durkin, Hagan and Cavanaugh families and extended family that loved her dearly. There will be a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, Sept. 2, at 11:00 am at St. Christine Church in Youngstown. Family and friends may call from 10:15 a.m. until time of the Mass on Friday at the church. Memorial gifts may be made to the Beth Churosh Scholarship Fund at Xavier Foundation, 4710 N. 5th St. Phoenix, AZ 85012. Arrangements have been entrusted to the professional care of the Rossi Brothers and Lellio Funeral Home.
