Poland – Lynn M. Sylvester, 44, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, September 11, 2016. She was born May 7, 1972 in Barberton, the daughter of Shirley Courtwright. Lynn graduated from Barberton High School and moved to Poland in 1998. She worked as the office manager for Gaffin, Schwebel and Malcoff Counseling Agency. She also worked as a barista at Starbucks, and most recently in special education at Valley Christian School. She was currently pursuing her special education degree at Liberty University. Lynn was a beautiful wife and wonderful mother who had great love for her family. She will be remembered by all those who knew her and her love for the Lord. She was a member of Poland Village Baptist Church where she was a Sunday school teacher and a longtime member of Lake Milton Baptist Temple where she was a Sunday school teacher for over fifteen years. She enjoyed fishing, football, quilting and cross-stitch, but her greatest joy was spending time with her family. Lynn will always be remembered lovingly by her husband, Robert Sylvester of Poland, whom she married December 12, 1998; two daughters, Laura and Grace at home; sister, Laura Jean (Gary) Vanpelt of Sebring; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins; two great-nephews and a great-niece. She was preceded in death by her mother. Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. on Monday, September 19 at Poland Village Baptist Church, 79 Hill Drive in Poland, and again on Tuesday, September 20 from 1 to 2 p.m. at the church followed by a 2 p.m. Memorial Service. In lieu of flowers monetary donations may be made to the family. Arrangements have been entrusted to the professional care of the Rossi Brothers and Lellio Funeral Home in Boardman.
