Helen L. Tesone, 93
CANFIELD – There will be an 11 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, Nov. 26, 2014, at St. Joseph Church in Austintown, with Rev. Gregory Fedor celebrating the Mass along with Deacon Jerry Savo, for Helen L. Tesone, 93, who passed Sunday evening, Nov. 23, 2014.
Helen was born Dec. 22, 1920, in New Castle, Pa., the daughter of Nicola and Theresa (Cioffi) DeRosa. She retired from Kaufmann’s with over 25 years of employment. She was a member of St. Joseph Church. Her husband, Anthony J. Tesone, whom she married in July 8, 1940, passed away Oct. 16, 1988.
She will always be remembered lovingly by her daughter, Joann (Carl) Ross; her son, Nick (Judy) Tesone; seven grandchildren, Mark Tesone, Denise (Kevin) Zallow, Jeff Slanco, Joel (Diana) Slanco, Carl (Patrice) Ross, Carla (Donald) Duda, and Nicole (Lance) Julian; and ten great-grandchildren, Sarah and Caitlyn Zallow, Megan, Carl, and Macy Rose Ross, Donny and Annamarie Duda, and Giovanna, Rosella and Gemma Rose Julian.
Besides her husband and parents; Helen was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Diyorio; and three brothers, Palmerino, Anthony, and Michael DeRosa.
Friends may call at the church one hour prior to the time of the Mass on Wednesday.
The Rossi Brothers and Lellio Funeral Home in Boardman has been bestowed the honor and privilege of handling the funeral services for Helen.
