Mary Ann Bibbee, 76
POLAND – There will be a funeral service at 6 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 22, 2015, at the Rossi Brothers & Lellio Funeral Home in Boardman for Mary Ann Bibbee, 76, who passed away Thursday, Nov. 19, 2015, surrounded by her loving family.
Mary Ann was born Aug. 16, 1939, in Youngstown, the daughter of Harry and Mary (Hodos) Tych.
She was a graduate of Wilson High School and was a homemaker. Mary Ann enjoyed cooking and baking, especially her specialties, pierogi and kolachi for her family. Her home was always open with love. She loved preparing Christmas Eve dinner and sharing it with her family. Her greatest joy were her grandchildren, whom she took great joy raising. She was a former member of St. Matthias Church and a member of the Holy Family Church.
Mary Ann will always be lovingly remembered by her husband, Asa “Larry” Bibbee, whom she married Sept. 27, 1958; two children, Michael (Kathy) Bibbee of Eugene, Ore., and Mary (Brian) Ross of Liberty; five grandchildren, Jennifer (Scott) Banfield of Girard, William Mikesell of Liberty, Cassandra Bibbee of Oregon, Kristie Griffith (Matt Charek) of Youngstown, and Michael L. Bibbee of Oregon; three great-grandsons, Dean and Jason Banfield, and Connor Bibbee; and son-in-law, Jim Griffith of Youngstown.
Besides her parents, Mary Ann was preceded in death by her daughter, Jackie Griffith; and brother, Harry Tych Jr.
Friends may call on Sunday, Nov. 22, from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Rossi Brothers and Lellio Funeral Home, 4442 South Ave. in Boardman.
