Irene Kostalas, 84

YOUNGSTOWN - There will be a funeral service at 10 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 30, at St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church in Youngstown, for Irene Kostalas, 84, who passed away Wednesday, Nov. 25, 2015.
Irene was born Jan. 22, 1931, in Youngstown, the daughter of Peter and Anastasia (Kosefas) Limberopoulos.
Irene was a homemaker. She enjoyed playing bingo and cooking Greek specialties for her family and friends. She was a member of St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church.
Irene will always be remembered lovingly by her husband of 59 years, Tony Kostalas; four children, Gust (Bonnie) Kostalas, Maria Evans (Charles Patton), Pete (Jackie) Kostalas, and Nicholas “Niko” Kostalas; ten grandchildren, Chris Kostalas, Anna (Joseph) Luknis, Richard Evans, Tony Kostalas, Anthony Evans, Jonathon Kostalas, Victoria Kostalas, P.J. Kostalas, Kelly Kostalas and Mikalah Kostalas; five great-grandchildren, Richard, Anthony, and Nikolas Evans, and Thomas and Andrew Luknis; many loving nieces and nephews; brother Nick Limbert; and beloved dog, D.J.
Besides her parents, Irene was preceded in death by her sister, Lucy Mathews.
Friends may call from 2 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 29, where there will be a Trisagion Service at 4:30 p.m. at the Rossi Brothers & Lellio Funeral Home, 4442 South Avenue in Boardman.
