Joseph G. Santarelli, 81
BOARDMAN – There will be a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Luke Church on Monday, Jan. 18, 2016, to be celebrated by the Rev. Joseph Fata for, Joseph G. Santarelli,. Joseph passed away peacefully Thursday evening, on Jan. 14, 2016, with his family by his side. Joseph was born March 19, 1934, in Youngstown, the son of John and Frances (Caruso) Santarelli. He worked as a master mechanic for Taylor Oldsmobile and was a television repairman for Gustafson, Byers, and Pesa T.V. He was a founding member of St. Luke Parish and enjoyed photography and electronics. His wife, Laura M. (Sabelli), whom he married Aug. 1, 1953, passed away April 12, 2006. Joseph will always be remembered lovingly by his son, Joseph M. at home; three daughters, Jeannine “Jay” Hambright of Boardman, Lorraine (Roger) Turner of Medina, and Jolene (Donald F.) Rodenbaugh of Boardman; six grandchildren, Jenny (Frank) Bowkowski, April (Adam) Chumita, Corey Hambright, Michael (Kim) Clark, Erica (Andrew) Bowen, and David Rodenbaugh; eight great- grandchildren, Frank, Cailin, Michael, Aidan, Demetra, Madison, Peyton, and Tyler; and three brothers, Francis, Robert, and Donald Santarelli. Besides his wife and parents, Joseph was preceded in death by a brother, John Santarelli. Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 17, 2016, at the Rossi Brothers and Lellio Funeral Home in Boardman and again from 9 a.m. until time of the mass on Monday at St. Luke Church.
