There will be funeral services at 9 a.m. on Friday, June 3, at the Rossi Brothers & Lellio Funeral Home in Boardman, followed by a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Angela Merici (Sacred Heart) Church, with the Rev. Kevin Peters celebrating the life of Donna (Biondillo) Mokrovich, 77, who passed away on Sunday, May 29, 2016, surrounded by her loving family.
Donna was born Sept. 22, 1938, in Youngstown, the daughter of Ernest and Ida Marie (Pagley) Biondillo.
She was a 1956 graduate of East High School. She worked at Strouss Beauty Salon, the Wig Shop, Voyager Salon, was an instructor at Lewis- Weinberger and Hill, as well as the Ohio Beauty Academy and worked as a hair dresser for 40 years. Donna was a member of St. Angela Merici (Sacred Heart Church). She was a member of the East High School Class Reunion Committee and loved to cook, travel, bake, and dance, but her greatest joy was spending time with her family, whom she adored.
Donna will always be lovingly remembered by her husband, William Mokrovich, whom she married on Feb. 23, 1981; three children, Dina (Joseph) Lalley of Canfield, Francene (Joe) Spahits of Michigan and Jon (Anna) Morucci of Youngstown; three grandchildren, Vadim, Dima, and Giavonna; three sisters-in-law, Judy Biondillo of Columbiana, JoAnn Biondillo-White of California, and Linda Biondillo of Boardman.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Anthony J., Ernest and John Biondillo; and sister Marie Staron.
Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, June 2, at the Rossi Brothers & Lellio Funeral Home, in Boardman.
Donna’s family would like to extend heartfelt gratitude to her niece, Debbie Biondillo Varley and Hospice of the Valley for the kind and compassionate care and support shown to Donna.
