Shirley K. Fiehler, 83


Youngstown – There will be a funeral service at 11:00 am on Wednesday, July 9, 2014 at the Rossi Brothers & Lellio Funeral Home in Boardman for Shirley K. Fiehler, 83, who passed away on Saturday, July 5, 2014, surrounded by her loving family. She was born July 27, 1930 in Youngstown, the daughter of George E. and Harriet M. (Johnson) Anderson. Shirley was retired from the Mahoning County Board of Health. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, where she volunteered. Shirley enjoyed making blankets for Akron Children’s Hospital. She was always there to lend a hand to those in need. She loved to read and spend time at Lake Erie with her family and friends. Her husband, Richard Fiehler whom she married July 14, 1951, passed away March 22, 2009. Shirley will always be lovingly remembered by her two children, Paul (Debra) Fiehler of Austintown and Rhonda (Kathy Waterson) Fiehler of Doylestown, PA; three grandchildren, Steve Fiehler of Boardman, Stacy Wayland of Austintown and Amy (Chris) Spencer of Austintown; three great-grandsons, Joshua, Ryan and Luc Wayland; and her beloved dog Harley. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband. Friends may call on Wednesday, July 9 from 9 a.m. until the time of the service at the Rossi Brothers & Lellio Funeral Home, 4442 South Avenue in Boardman.
